Did you find time to meditate today ?
I won’t be surprised if you answered “No”. Most people don’t find time to meditate. In today’s fast paced society finding time to practice meditation on a daily basis is definitely an uphill task – Isn’t It ?
Now, if you do take few minutes daily and practice meditation then kudos to you. However, during your meditation practice, do you find yourself constantly battling with busy mental chatter?
Are you able to calm your chatty mind ?
This is another reason why most people quit meditation as they cannot experience any peace and their mind keeps jumping from one thought to another and to another with no rest. Are you familiar to this ?
I personally had this challenge of ‘chatty mind’ due to which I had a very erratic meditation practice. I used to sit for my practice and my mind used to wander. It was quite frustrating because here I am taking time out to meditate and still not experiencing any benefit.
Are you facing these challenges / hurdles with your meditation practice ? If yes, then let me show you a way to address them. Here I would like to share with you “The Zen 12 Meditation Program”

What is Zen12 Meditation Program
Zen12 is a powerful new audio program that helps you to gain all the benefits of meditation without any hassles. Let me explain in detail.
Zen12 is an audio meditation program, there are 12 levels in the entire Zen12 program, each level is for 12 minutes. Each level is designed to be listened for a month before you move onto the next level.
For every level in the Zen12 program, there are four different “flavors”. All the four flavors are for 12 minutes each, you can choose anyone, depending on your mood at the moment.
- Relaxation mix: This contains spa-like background music.
- Sounds of nature: This contains sounds of nature which vary from countryside sounds to babbling brooks.
- White noise: This is a sort of fuzzy sound (similar to the sound of a helicopter) that blocks out background distractions.
- Guided meditation mix: This is a brief guided meditation to take you down into a meditative state, against a relaxing audible backdrop.
This is the best part of Zen12, you just listen to the ‘flavor’ you prefer most in that moment. If you would like to be guided into a deep meditative state, then listen to the guided meditation session. If you prefer to relaxation music, then simply opt for the same. If you are unsure, then I suggest stick with Guided Meditation or Relaxation mix. Meditation is never boring because of these flavors.
It is also worth noting that the audio for each level is completely unique. For instance, the guided meditation mix and matching audio are unique for each of the 12 levels.
How To Use The Zen12 Program
There are 12 levels in the Zen12 program. These levels are split into three parts. Firstly, the beginner phase (Levels 1-3), then intermediate (Levels 4-6), then advanced (Levels 7-12). With Zen12, you simply use each level for a month, then move on to the next.
Using the entire Zen12 program really is a breeze. There are no rules to try and hold you back. You can listen to this whenever you can. Once a day is great. If you cannot do that, try to listen a few times a week as a minimum. For your first listening experience, download the four different flavors of level 1 and briefly skim through each of them to decide which you would prefer to listen.
Then, transfer the MP3 to your MP3 player (such as an iPhone), burn it to an audio CD, or simply keep it on your computer. Then sit back, relax and hit play. You don’t have to adopt the lotus position, you don’t have to chant, you don’t even have to wear headphones (I use headphones & recommend for you as well).
Try sitting upright while you listen, whether you are relaxing on a couch or sitting on a chair. This upright position helps to keep you conscious while listening and prevents you from drifting off to sleep. Listen to the audio and focus on your breathing if you find yourself distracted. If you find your mind wandering, acknowledge the fact, and then gently return your focus to the audio or your breathing.
That’s all you have to do, as you listen, you will soon start to feel yourself beginning to really relax into the moment. Don’t resist or fight anything. Just be in the moment and give yourself space to chill out while you listen. The good thing about Zen12 is that there aren’t any crazy rules to follow.
Every month, one level and then move to the next. Every level takes you to a deeper state of meditation, which in all probability will enhance the results you will receive. Once you have finished all the 12 levels, you can continue to listen as you deem fit. You can continue the cycle again from level 1 to 12. This time you can switch levels every week instead of every month or you can stick with level 12, just follow what feels right for you.

The Science Behind Zen12 Program
How does Zen12 actually work its magic?
Every single level in the Zen12 program contains special brainwave sounds, which help to influence your brainwaves, this in turn helps to take you down into a deep state of meditation automatically. This all happens due to an area of science known as “brainwave entrainment“.
Let me explain.
Your brain is a fascinating, three-pound organ. It contains a staggering 100 billion brain cells and can process thoughts at thousands of miles per second. All of those brain cells talk to each other using little spikes of electricity. Overall, this activity generates a mild electrical field – a frequency pattern – which can be detected using an EEG machine.
These frequencies are the ‘signature’ of what’s happening inside your head. For example when you fall into a deep sleep tonight, your brainwaves will likely drop down into the delta range, which is typically 0.1 to 4Hz. (Hz = Hertz is just another way of saying ‘cycles per second’). Similarly, when you are awake the brainwaves operate in a range which is called as Beta, which is 12 to 30Hz.
So these frequencies and their patterns are the signature of what’s going on inside your head. This also applies when we meditate. The creators of Zen12 know the exact brainwave ‘signature’ of someone who is in deep meditation. The brainwave patterns go deeper and deeper all while the person remains awake and conscious.
Now if you are new to meditation, then it will take years of patient meditative practice to reach those deeper states on your own. This is where Zen12, and the science of brainwave entrainment comes in. Brainwave entrainment provides a ‘cheat’ – A quick method of achieving those deeper frequencies, without requiring years of extensive meditative practice.

How Does This “Brainwave Entrainment” Stuff Works?
Your brain is great at playing “follow the leader.” If you expose it to particular frequency, it copies that frequency. So, think of it this way. When you strike a tuning fork at a particular frequency, and hold a second tuning fork next to it – The second one starts vibrating at the same frequency as the first.
The brain works in exactly the same way. By exposing it to stimuli (such as an MP3 audio file) containing a specific encoded frequency it copies that frequency, and brings about that state of mind. Expose the brain to a frequency of 4 Hz, for instance and over time, you will gently be taken down into a deep state of meditation.
That’s exactly what happens with the Zen12 audio meditation program. Each level contains specific encoded frequencies (to be technical, isochronic tones blended with other entrainment techniques). As the sounds influence the brainwaves, they naturally quieten the mind and body. This helps reduce mental chatter and restlessness, effortlessly.
It also takes the brain down into a deep state of meditation, dissolving stress and anxiety, and increasing relaxation levels. This deep state also triggers the release of serotonin, boosting mood levels. All this happens behind the scenes, whether you understand the science or not.
My Experience Using Zen12
To be honest with you I started using Zen12 meditation program a couple of weeks back. However, I am aware of this technology and have been using brainwave entrainment audios for quite sometime for my daily meditation practice.
With my experience I can say that it does make a difference. You do feel fresher, happier, more focused, more productive, more energetic and positive than usual. There is enough evidence which proves that it does help in improving your meditation results. Brainwave entrainment is an area of science that has been heavily researched over the past 100 years and the results are all over the internet.

Final Words
You have heard about the powerful benefits of meditation like less stress, greater relaxation, sharper thinking, improved memory, enhanced creativity and much more. However, the question remains – Have you experienced these benefits?
Meditation holds some amazing benefits for those that practice it daily. Since 1970s, there have been over 3000 scientific studies at over 200 independent universities, all validating the life changing gains of regular meditation.
The problem is that reaching the states that bring about such powerful benefits takes time. You need to invest hours in weekly practice. After months of training you learn to slowly quieten the mind, suppress the itching, and slowly progress into deeper and deeper states of meditation.
Brainwave entrainment is perhaps the ultimate ‘brain hack’ you could use to quickly achieve those deep, profound states – all within just minutes. Science has the answer and now you that know more about it, maybe it’s time to try it out for yourself.

Hi Satish,
Wow! This was a very thorough review of the Zen12 program. I am definitely someone who still needs to use a guided meditation. I like that this program gives you flavor options. If I progress in my meditation practice, hopefully I will be focused enough to try some of the other flavors. Thank you for this informative post. $37 dollars is an amazing deal for this program. I think it would make an excellent gift for some of my friends and family members (and it is better for the environment, too).

Hi Satish,
I have tried meditating before but to no avail. When I am stressed, I feel like my brain will short-circuit and the more stressed I get. Sometime all is need is a bit of peace of mind. As I read the post, I came across the term Brainwave Entrainment, I had never come across this term before and it is great stuff. What i understand is that these MP3s are coded with special frequencies which help me relax faster – This was the best part for me.

Hi Satish,
I always knew meditation was good but never could remove time from my busy schedule for it. Quite frankly 12 minutes is also difficult however this time I am going to commit myself for at least a month. The best part which I like about Zen12 is that there are no rules and it can done anytime during the day. I like this flexibility as I am beginner. It is encouraging to know that without any of the traditional meditation rules, I can still reap the benefits. Will give this program a try and keep you posted on my experience.
Great post,
J.
Hi Jeffrey,
If time is a constraint and you are new to meditation, then I strongly recommend Zen12 as it does not have any crazy rules to follow. You can listen to this whenever you can. Once a day is great. If you cannot do that, try to listen a few times a week as a minimum. Zen12 uses Brainwave entrainment and it is perhaps the ultimate ‘brain hack’ you could use to quickly achieve those deep, profound states – all within just minutes.

Hi Satish,
Meditation and prayer has always been a part of my Christian faith. It has many physical, emotional and spiritual benefits. Controlling your breathing infuses your body and circulatory system with oxygen. That said my meditation practice is not consistent, sometime I get bored to be very frank. I noticed that Zen12 comes in different “flavors” and I think that will really help me. I will definitely give this program a try, thanks for sharing the info.
Hi Anne,
Thanks for sharing your experience, I understand the ‘boring’ element in meditation. It’s important to remember that meditation is a form of total acceptance. You are letting everything be. And that actually includes the feeling of boredom. Boredom is a tough one for a lot of us to accept, because we are so stimulated so much of the time. We struggle to tolerate boredom, much less accept it unconditionally.
A strong meditation practice is deeper than any experience. It grounds you in a part of yourself that is always tranquil. So from my perspective, the answer to the question of what you should do when you get bored in meditation is to have faith and keep going.
Zen12 comes with four different flavors, This is the best part of Zen12, you just listen to the ‘flavor’ you prefer most in that moment. If you would like to be guided into a deep meditative state, then listen to the guided meditation session. If you prefer to relaxation music, then simply opt for the same. If you are unsure, then I suggest stick with Guided Meditation or Relaxation mix. Meditation is never boring because of these flavors.
I wish you all the best with this program ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
Nice, this is an exciting program to try out. I’ve been meditating daily for nearly a year. This task is a crucial part of my daily routine. I noticed some changes in my mental health over time, and feel much better about myself compared to a year ago.
Zen12 looks like something that dives deeper into regular meditation, along with the many health benefits that come along the way. Now that I’m a regular meditator, I certainly will check out Zen12. It looks promising.
Thanks for the great information!
Hi Eric,
Glad to know that you have made meditation a part of your daily routine. Meditation holds some amazing benefits for those that practice it daily. The problem is that reaching the states that bring about such powerful benefits takes time. You need to invest hours in weekly practice. This is were Zen12 helps…it is an audio meditation program which contains encoded frequencies which influences the brainwaves and naturally quietens the mind and body.
A quick method of achieving those deeper frequencies, without requiring years of extensive meditative practice. I wish you all the best with this program ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
This just came at the right time. My mind is often crowded and i try to meditate to free my mind but it seems like i dont have the right tools…lol. This is really a thorough review of the Zen12 and the fact that it has flavours and parts starting from beginners,it is a great place to start. I have book marked this so that i read more about meditation first and get it when i am ready. How long does it take to reap the benefits of meditation?
Hi Janet,
Thanks for taking time to read through the post. With Zen12 you will notice the difference within few weeks, the key thing is consistency when it comes to meditation. If you can incorporate meditation in your daily routine and do it as daily practice then you will reap lifelong benefits. Wishing you all the very best with this program ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
Thank you for this useful information. Recently, my son is looking for some training in meditation because he wants to be more relaxed because of the stress comes from school. Therefore, I do research online. Then I find the information online is confusing. It’s difficult to organize in a systematic way.
Luckily I landed on your site. I can see you spend a lot of time to write it. You introduce the program in detail that impresses me a lot. What you write is in-depth. It saves me a lot of time.
I believe my son will love to read your post like me because it’s easy to read. It can save me a lot of time to explain to him because he can learn by himself. I will bookmark your site and read it regularly. I hope you can keep sharing with us because many people need this.
After reading your post, I think Zen12 is excellent meditation program for beginners and the fact that there are no rules to follow makes it even more easier. I will try this program and thanks for sharing the discount code, this makes the program really affordable for anyone 🙂
Hi CT,
I am glad that you find my posts useful. I noted you mentioning that your son is looking for some training in meditation, I just thought I should mention here, if your son is below 18 years old then I will not recommend him this program as this program comes with MP3s that contains special brainwave sounds, that influences your brainwaves. It is recommended that any pregnant ladies or anyone suffering from epilepsy, seizures or any psychiatric disorder, and those who wear a pacemaker and anyone who is below 18 years old not to use this program.
Otherwise, this is an excellent program for anyone who is looking to make meditation daily practice ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
I love meditation but I haven’t made it a priority in my daily activities. When I do meditate I do feel the positive effects of a great session. Mind, body and soul all are in sync and in peace. There have been times when it was hard for me to focus and settle my mind and thought after thought would keep coming. Then there were times when it was so easy to slip into deep meditation.
I was not familiar with the Zen 12 program. Thank you so much for providing complete details of the program, the Brainwave Entrainment bit was really fascinating. Taking out 12 minutes every day for myself to reap benefits of deep meditation is really awesome. I will surely look into it soon. It might just be what I need to commit to meditating daily, Thank you.
Hi Geri,
Thank you for sharing your experience, I observed that you are not able to make meditation a daily practice. I feel Zen12 will fit your needs. Once a day is great. If you cannot do that, try to listen a few times a week as a minimum. For your first listening experience, download the four different flavors of level 1 and briefly skim through each of them to decide which you would prefer to listen.

Hi Satish,
I’ve always wondered about the power of meditation and what it can do for us in our daily lives. This was an interesting and very comprehensive review. It made me seriously think about giving some sort of system a try and this Zen12 sounds like it would be very beneficial. Thank you for the information!
Hi Justin,
I am glad you found this post helpful. I wish you all the best with Zen12 program ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
From all accounts, Brainwave Entrainment is a powerful tool. I used to listen to tapes to help me fall asleep. Applying the principles of Brainwave Entrainment to meditation makes perfect sense. Using the Zen12 program is totally voluntary, so it involves none of the negative overtones to brainwashing.
What I found interesting about your discussion of the Zen12 program, was how it transmutes the traditional approach to meditation from one of process to one of place. This demonstrates how we have come to realize that the benefits of mediation may be more about place than process. At least for those of us that seek results more than practice.
Not having tried Zen12 I can’t comment on whether this is good or bad. It does suggest that what humans learn through science will affect the essential value of the subject learned about. The iconic image of the cross-legged meditating monk may well no longer be the sole concept associated with meditation. Your Zen12 program approach to meditation seems to be a good idea for today’s generation.
Hi Burton,
Thank you for sharing your views on Brainwave Entrainment.
If you are new to meditation, then it will take years of patient meditative practice to reach those deeper states on your own. This is where Zen12, and the science of brainwave entrainment comes in. Hi Satish,
Zen12 looks Interesting! Thank you for such detailed information and explanation on Zen12. It helps me understand the science behind meditation and sound and its influence on our brain.
I have been doing meditation for about maybe 20 yrs? Did not really keep track on it. I started at early 20s but didn’t constantly practice it. I used to stop for a period in between and then pick up again.
I do agree that meditation does help in release stress and relax the body and mind. I never tried brainwave entrainment technology, that said it looks promising. In fact I have tried different way of meditation. Currently I’m more into energy meditation. I always use this meditation for self healing. I always feel that we should experiment with different styles of meditation and then choose the one which we feel good and suits us. Also, I have noticed the preference of meditation will change as we start doing it over a period of time. It has happened for me. I guess it depends at that moment what your body, mind and soul need.
For people with chatty mind problem during meditation, sound meditation is helpful because it help them to just focus on the sound and stop the monkey mind! I had a question: How will Zen12 meditate ‘for me’?
Hi Janet,
Thank you for sharing your experience.
To answer your question, Zen12 program uses the science of brainwave entrainment. This provides a ‘cheat’ – A quick method of achieving those deeper frequencies, without requiring years of extensive meditative practice. Each level contains specific encoded frequencies (to be technical, isochronic tones blended with other entrainment techniques). As the sounds influence the brainwaves, they naturally quieten the mind and body.
So in some sense all the hard work is done by the brainwave entrainment technology. You need just take out time and make a practice to listen once a day if possible, else few times a week. Zen12 fits around your schedule. You’ll still feel the benefits, no matter what. Wishing you all the best with this program ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
What a great article. I’m a massive fan of brainwave entrainment having used it to help me recover from chronic fatigue syndrome. I think you explained Zen12 beautifully here and I think it’s great that you provide such a fun way of getting into meditation. It’s not always easy to calm the mind, so I think it’s great that Zen12 has many different options and levels that you can start with.
I agree that practicing at least once a day is key to seeing the benefits. I try and do 15 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the evening as I always find it takes a while to calm the mind, which is when the real practice starts! Great article, Zen12 has something for everyone in it, and I like that you really explain the science behind Zen12 too 🙂 Will definitely try this product and share it with my family & friends.
Hi Natalie,
