Richard Miller’s Yoga Nidra Meditation is a world-embracing practice that is designed to promote vibrant health, healing, and resilience at all levels of body, mind, and spirit.
Do you ever feel so exhausted that you just can’t handle one more thing? Or maybe there are a million things you wish you could do, but your body is in so much pain that it feels like life is going by without you.
New studies come out every day telling us how lonely, overworked, stressed out, and exhausted we are. There is another set of studies that tell us how much we need to meditate, get better sleep, and relax.
So here’s my question to you:
You know that you are supposed to be taking care of yourself. So why is it so hard? Why are we not taking enough care of our health and well-being, when it should be our topmost priority?
Somewhere I feel knowledge alone isn’t enough – Reading a dozen books on meditation or watching videos on meditation helps to a certain extent however when it comes to making meditation a daily habit, the majority of people struggle and give up.
We need a solid practice that is accessible, restorative, and ignites complete inner transformation. There is something incredibly powerful about encountering just the right meditation practice at just the right time.
In this post, I am going to share with you Richard Miller’s new 8-week course – iRest Yoga Nidra Immersion in which you will discover a powerful, science-backed technique for accessing deeper states of healing, rest, and well-being.

Hi Satish,
What’s the difference between iRest and other forms of Yoga Nidra?
Hi Sonia,
iRest brings together a unique combination of traditional Yoga Nidra, neuroscience, and nondual wisdom. A few of the elements that set iRest apart are incorporating the homunculus theory, the brain’s map of our sensory experience; the ancient art of welcoming; connecting with your Inner Resource and innate sense of well-being; and working with opposites somatically, emotionally, and mentally. iRest has undergone extensive empirical studies as well, which has contributed to its evolution and effectiveness ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
Yoda Nidra meditation is my first time to hear about this type of meditation practice for awakening, is there any difference with a simple meditation?
Meditation is a part of my daily routine and I feel relax and calm after doing it. My method is to find a comfortable place, close my eyes, clear my mind with slow and gentle deep breathing. And I want to learn more on how to grade up to my practice.
Thank you for sharing this information.
Hi Lyn,
Richard Miller’s Yoga Nidra meditation is a unique combination of the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra, current research in in neuroscience & incorporates Western psychology in creating a realistic meditation for modern life that supports healing from trauma. I hope this program will help you in deepening your meditation practice ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
I came across Yoga Nidra Meditation for the first time. What I like is…this post is elegantly simple. It also is informative and well-organized. All those characteristics together make for a “peaceful” read, so the post is almost a “product of the product” (meditation). Thanks for sharing
Hi Howard,
I am happy to note that you enjoyed the post and the program (Yoga Nidra Meditation) ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
Informative post about Yoga Nidra Meditation. I have never involved myself in Yoga and have been amazed to see that its a whole comprehensive course. I am not sure I will be ready to join?
Hi James,
This course is not about Yoga, it has been derived from the ancient practice of Yoga Nidra. What you will specifically learn in this course is an exquisite practice / transformative tool for working with discomfort, pain, or illness whenever they arise. I wish you all the best with this course ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
Richard Miller’s Yoga Nidra meditation sounds like a interesting program. Do you think it works? I have always had a hard time with meditation. Do you know if any underlying conditions could cause a problem? I am bipolar so sometimes these kind of things don’t work.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Brianna,
Yoga Nidra Meditation is truly for everyone. Richard has spent decades studying the effects of this work with a variety of populations ranging from longtime Buddhist meditators looking for more expansive awakening, to soldiers seeking help for PTS (Post Traumatic Stress). Bipolar disorder causes extreme highs and lows in mood. Meditation helps to relax and reduce stress, helping people with bipolar disorder manage their mood. So hope this will help you ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
Hi Satish,
I love that you gave a description on each week. That helps me to feel like I know what I am getting and make a good choice. Your question: If we know we are supposed to be taking care of ourselves, why is it so hard? Really struck home with me. I feel guilty as a mom to take my own time but I know it is necessary-catch 22!
Hi MommyAskk,
Self care is of utmost importance, if we neglect or in other words sacrifice our health, our peace of mind then it is not doing good for us and our family. I am glad that the question on self care hit you hard – You don’t have to be guilty or sad about it, as majority of us juggle with different roles. Just keep in mind that first I need to take care of my health and state of mind so that I can give my 100% to my family ~ Stay Blessed 🙂
